Description
The Core i5-9500T is a cpu manufactured by Intel released on July 2019. This model is based on Coffee Lake architecture which is the second refinement of Intel’s 14nm (Tri-Gate) technology. While it uses LGA1151 socket, it is incompatible with previous generations due to electrical changes in socket’s pins so these CPUs require Z370 chipset. This kind of generation introduced more cores in every range to compete with new AMD’s arquitecture. Coffee Lake uses DDR4 memory at 2400MHz for i3 and at 2666MHz for i5, i7 CPUs plus iGPU frequency has been increased 50MHz with respect to previous generation.

This model runs at 2200 MHz as base frequency but it can reach up to 3700 Mhz under some conditions with a thermal design power of 35 W. About its cache memory, this CPU has 6x32+6x32 kB level 1 cache, 6x256kB of level 2 cache and 9216kB of level 3 cache.

The performance score in monothread tasks in mode 0 (non-optimized software) of the Core i5-9500T is 35039 while its multithread score in the same mode is 136364 points.
