Core i7-4770
Description
The Core i7-4770 is a cpu manufactured by Intel released on Jun 2013. This model is based on Haswell architecture which is known as fourth-generation core too. It uses 22nm Tri-Gate FinFET (non-planar, 3D) technology. It includes fourth arithmetic logic unit (ALU) and third address generation unit (AGU). This generation is able to run Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (AVX2) instruction set among BMI1, BMI2, ABM and FMA3. At this time Intel used new sockets: LGA 1150 for desktops and BGA1364 for the mobile CPUs.This model runs at 3400 MHz
as base frequency but it can reach up to 3900 Mhz under some conditions with a thermal design power of 84 W. About its cache memory, this CPU has 32+32 kB level 1 cache, 256kB of level 2 cache and 8192kB of level 3 cache.
If we talk about optimized software, in its highest mode (mode II optimized for AVX), the monothread score is 37148 and the multithread score is 149049 points.
