Ryzen 7 1700


Description
We need your help: we don't have results in all modes. If you have a 1700 and want to help us to complete the stats, you just have to run the benchmark in modes FPU, SSE, and validate the results. You don't have to register and the whole process will take less than 3 minutes per mode.

The Ryzen 7 1700 is a cpu manufactured by AMD that was released on March 2017. This model has 8 Summit Ridge cores with Simultaneous MultiThreading (SMT), runs at 3000 MHz as base frequency and has a a thermal design power of 65 W.

The 1700 has 8x64+8x32 kB of cache L1, 8x512 kB of cache L2 and 2x8192 kB of cache L3.

Zen is the first Ryzen generation. It uses 14nm FinFET process from GlobalFoundries. It has support for DDR4 memory and ECC. Comes with 64kB instruction + 32kB data L1 cache and 512kB L2 cache per core.

AVX optimized benchmark
The benchmark in mode II (AVX) is optimized to used 256 bits registers beside the first version of the Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX). The first AVX compatible CPU was released in 2011.

Multithread performance graph
Multithread graphs measure the performance against a heavy load during certain time.

If CPU's TDP doesn't limit the frequency and the machine is properly cooled, performance should remain steady vs time. Otherwise, the performance score will oscillate or decrease over time.
