Core i7-7700K


Description
We need your help: we don't have results in all modes. If you have a i7-7700K and want to help us to complete the stats, you just have to run the benchmark in modes SSE, and validate the results. You don't have to register and the whole process will take less than 3 minutes per mode.

The Core i7-7700K is a cpu manufactured by Intel that was released on September 2016. This model has 4 Kaby Lake-S cores with HyperThreading, runs at 4200 MHz as base frequency and has a a thermal design power of 95 W.

The i7-7700K has 32+32 kB of cache L1, 256 kB of cache L2 and 8192 kB of cache L3.

The first Kaby Lake CPU was released in August 2016. It uses a 14 nm process and was the first architecture in breaking the previous tick-tock model. Actually, it is not that different from the preceding Skylake: it has 64kB of L1 cache and 256kB L2 cache per core.

Non-optimized benchmark
The benchmark in Mode 0 (FPU) measures cpu performance with non-optimized software. It uses the basic µinstructions from the i386 architecture with the i387 floating point unit. This mode is compatible with all CPUs so it's practical to compare very different CPUs

Multithread performance graph
Multithread graphs measure the performance against a heavy load during certain time.

If CPU's TDP doesn't limit the frequency and the machine is properly cooled, performance should remain steady vs time. Otherwise, the performance score will oscillate or decrease over time.
