Description
We need your help: we don't have results in all modes. If you have a E5-2620 and want to help us to complete the stats, you just have to run the benchmark at stock frequency (no oc) in modes FPU, SSE, and validate the results. You don't have to register and the whole process will take less than 3 minutes per mode.

The Xeon E5-2620 is a cpu manufactured by Intel that was released on March 2012. This model has 6 Sandy Bridge-EP cores with HyperThreading, runs at 2000 MHz as base frequency and has a a thermal design power of 95 W.

"Sandy Bridge codename was originally ""Gesher"". The development began in 2005 and four years later, the first Sandy Bridge CPU was presented. The most prominent features are Intel Turbo Boost 2.0, AES encryption and SHA-1 hashing acceleration, Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) 256-bit instruction set and the ability to have up to 8 physical cores or 16 logical cores through Hyper-Threading."

AVX optimized benchmark
The benchmark in mode II (AVX) is optimized to used 256 bits registers beside the first version of the Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX). The first AVX compatible CPU was released in 2011.

Monothread performance graph
Monothread performance graphics gives the performance vs time. They are useful to measure the time it takes to the CPU to reach the maximum performance.

Usually, CPU's performance will be steady during these tests but if it has a slow frequency strategy, the first samples will show a lower score.

Multithread performance graph
Multithread graphs measure the performance against a heavy load during certain time.

If CPU's TDP doesn't limit the frequency and the machine is properly cooled, performance should remain steady vs time. Otherwise, the performance score will oscillate or decrease over time.
