Pentium Dual-Core E2200

Description
The Pentium Dual-Core E2200 is a cpu manufactured by Intel released on December 2007. This model is based on Core architecture which codename was originally Gesher. The development began in 2005 and four years later, the first Sandy Bridge CPU was presented. The most prominent features are Intel Turbo Boost 2.0, AES encryption and SHA-1 hashing acceleration, Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) 256-bit instruction set and the ability to have up to 8 physical cores or 16 logical cores through Hyper-Threading.

This model runs at 2200 MHz as base frequency with a thermal design power of 65 W. About its cache memory, this CPU has 32+32 kB level 1 cache, 1024kB of level 2 cache and kB of level 3 cache.

The performance score in monothread tasks in mode 0 (non-optimized software) of the Pentium Dual-Core E2200 is 7822 while its multithread score in the same mode is 14512 points. If we talk about optimized software, in its highest mode (mode I optimized for SSE3), the monothread score is 8333 and the multithread score is 15530 points.

There are some CPU models pretty similar to this one like the Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 , the AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ and the Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 amongst others. To know the complete list and how similar are they, please go down on this page.
