Pentium G850


Description
We need your help: we don't have results in all modes. If you have a G850 and want to help us to complete the stats, you just have to run the benchmark in modes FPU, and validate the results. You don't have to register and the whole process will take less than 3 minutes per mode.

The Pentium G850 is a cpu manufactured by Intel that was released on May 2012. This model has 2 Sandy Bridge cores , runs at 2900 MHz as base frequency and has a a thermal design power of 65 W.

The G850 has 32+32 kB of cache L1, 256 kB of cache L2 and 3072 kB of cache L3.

"Sandy Bridge codename was originally ""Gesher"". The development began in 2005 and four years later, the first Sandy Bridge CPU was presented. The most prominent features are Intel Turbo Boost 2.0, AES encryption and SHA-1 hashing acceleration, Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) 256-bit instruction set and the ability to have up to 8 physical cores or 16 logical cores through Hyper-Threading."

Monothread performance graphics gives the performance vs time. They are useful to measure the time it takes to the CPU to reach the maximum performance.

Usually, CPU's performance will be steady during these tests but if it has a slow frequency strategy, the first samples will show a lower score.

Multithread performance graph
Multithread graphs measure the performance against a heavy load during certain time.

If CPU's TDP doesn't limit the frequency and the machine is properly cooled, performance should remain steady vs time. Otherwise, the performance score will oscillate or decrease over time.
