Ryzen 5 2400G vs 1600


Description
Both models 2400G and 1600 are based on Zen architecture.

Zen is the first Ryzen generation. It uses 14nm FinFET process from GlobalFoundries. It has support for DDR4 memory and ECC. Comes with 64kB instruction + 32kB data L1 cache and 512kB L2 cache per core.

Using the multithread performance as a reference, the 2400G gets a score of 198.3 k points while the 1600 gets 303.4 k points.

Summarizing, the 1600 is 1.5 times faster than the 2400G. To get a proper comparison between both models, take a look to the data shown below.

Multithread performance graph
